Army School Age Programs in Your Neighborhood

ASPYN - Services


Activities are age appropriate and reflect the abilities of the individuals in the program.  Children and youth can choose from a wide range of activities. Before and after school activities include arts and crafts, games, sports, story time, talent shows, skits, laptops and homework time. Program activities inspire c
hildren to get along with others, make new friends, cooperate and share.

ELIGIBILITY

·         Active Duty Army or a current U.S. Army Civilian.

·         BOTH parents working full time, or

·         One parent working and one parent enrolled as a full-time student.
 

ENROLLMENT IN ASPYN

Visit the Killeen Armed Services YMCA to complete a National Association of Child Care Resource and Referral Agencies (NACCRRA) application. 

The following documents are needed to complete an application:
 

-  Leave and Earnings Statement (LES)

-  Copy of child’s Birth Certificate

-  Spouse’s most recent pay stub(s) reflecting        

   one month of pay or proof of enrollment

   in school

-  Current U.S. Army Civilian ID card and SF-50 Form

Note: Please turn in applications and all required documents to the ASYMCA Main Office
